It is located at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Utah State Route 32, the junction of Silver Creek and the Weber River. Located only 37 miles from Salt Lake City, and eight miles from Coalville, Wanship continues to be a small town in a centralized location. It is also home to a few local businesses, including a filling station, and a museum in an old barn that contains a collection of antiques and memorabilia.
